Branch Library (sakhagranhalayam palakol) was established in 1970 and started many more services to the people; firstly it was placed on shaukaru pet, near peddagopuram and then shifted to maruthi teater backside.
Palakol people are very fortunate. This library provides so many books to the people like academic side and competitive side. The costliest competitive books are available to the

The total number of books in the LIBRARY is 20,773;
The total members (who have member ship cards) in the LIBRARY are 2,567;
The total number of daily news papers, weekly’s, and monthly magazines are 70;
The inspiring readers motivate the students towards competitive side to get jobs as a result so many students to get jobs come to this library.
